ok gang...
I have these problem , the fan at the radiator not spinning during idle. when i turned on the aircond, the fan spins. when i drive without an aircond on for about 30 minutes and stop at a traffic light , the temperature start to increase towards nearly high. when the car go uphill (2nd or 3rd gear) , the temperature starts to rise. I have checked the water, the water is ok level( no leaking whatsoever). Before this i also did the flushing method (replace the old with new water) and the result is still the same. It has been running like these for months. othe than replacing the engine what need i to check for? Thanks

Did you add a decent anti-freeze when you flushed the radiator ?

1. try checking the wiring to fan and to wiring harness as it is in an exposed position and corosion can take place, if ok try powering the fan up from a 12v power source( car battery)to check the fan :D
2. check that the thermistor valve is working( take out and put in boiling water to see if valve opens, if not opening go get new one) also remember to get new gasket if taking apart.
:?

Even if it's hot, you must still add antifreeze, as it improves the heat dispersion qualities, protects the water circulation system from corrosion and also lubricates the water pump.
