What spoilers have you all put on? Ive been looking at an RX7 FD one but dunno if it'll look stupid

I bought an original second hand spoiler for the BA, have put it on yet though. The RX7 spoiler is quite large, not sure how you would be able to mount it

This is the one I was thinking, so it mounts on the boot and the sides are over the quarters

Have you checked inside the boot lid to make sure that you can drill holes to mount it? For the stock spoiler there are 2 spaces on both (left and right) sides but as you are using an after market product, I would ask for the dimensions and then double check the dimensions of the inside of the boot to see if the holes line up

You will have to remove the plastic trim to access the spaces for the holes in the boot lid, I'm sure there is a guide somewhere in the BA section although I haven't been able to find it yet

I did a custom job on an mg zs spoiler, really suited the lines of the BA, just bought a celica spoiler but m not too keen. All it needs is a couple of mounts making and t would fit a treat.

That's the very one, that's the modified mg zs spoiler, had to cut 2inches from the middle then joined back together with expanding foam and two lengths of threaded bar. Then to make the joint invisible, sand the join back, use an epoxy resin to secure the join then filler to get the join all smooth, then key surface, primer, sand, primer, sand, spray with colour, sand, colour, clear lacquer, sand, clear lacquer.....oh and remove mug. Lol it then just screwed in through existing boot holes. To finish off a couple of rubber grommets to fill the centre holes from original/standard spoiler. Fair bit of work, but well worth it.
Hope that helps, same technique can be used for any oversized spoiler.

Sounds exhausting lol. What did you use expanding foam for?

Might give you guys an idea or 3 ?

Hmmmmm, ducktails are awesome and should be made standard to all cars....except a ford ka, they should be burnt on sight.

Poltergeist, the spoiler was hollow so the foam fills the void, and the threaded bar gives it strength

Who was it that done the spoiler on the high brake light? Think it was a Boleno one?

And whos is the black car with the yellow stripe?
