I replaced my standard steering wheel with an aftermarket wheel and boss. I removed the wheel and clock spring, fitted the boss and the wheel.

The airbag light was flashing so I removed the bulb..

After about half a mile the 'TCS OFF' and Stability Control light came on.

Can anyone shed some light to why changing the steering would disable traction and stability control?

I also need some advice on how to rewire the horn if someone can help!

Im guessing the horn is the same as the BA. You'll need to get a paper clip or something similar and have the wire for your horn connected to it. Screw the wire somewhere behind the boss and have the paperclip bent so that it touches the metal face on the back of the boss. There should be a guide on here somewhere if you search for it

Put a fused 3.6 ohm resistor in your circuit instead of taking the bulb out...that will fool the system into thinking the airbag is there

Thanks! Where do I put the resistor? (I don't do electrical stuff!) will that sort out my TC and SC?

Put it into the connector at the steering wheel end - with battery disconnected I guess. It might help, unless it is coincidental that the tcs problem occurred when it did...

Can anyone tell me what wire is the horn? I've got a plug with 4 wires and a plug with 2, the plug with two has the same connector as airbag, so i assume thats for that. The connector with 4 wires I have.. Black with red stripe, black, white with blue stripe and brown with yellow stripe.

TCS and DSC -light are on, because you removed the clock spring. Stability control needs to know steering wheels position, so it can work.
