Im going to have to scrap this old girl

Shes been off the road for about a year. I had a major oil leak which i hadnt noticed it looked from the sump that i either hit something or maybe a stone chucked up during driving. the side of the sump was pretty badly rusted and whatever hit it had taken away a good pice of ruted sump causing the leak.


The car cut out with the engine warning light flashing

Let it other night and went back the next day and checked the oil and it was emtpy. Bought some fresh oil and left her running for a while and was able to drive back no problem. Since then ive ran into cash problems and never got round to getting her fixed. i did move it a few months back from my flat to my parents house again she ran no problem.

I am going to scrap her but i do wonder if she may actually be fixable last time she was running at 60 with no warning lights. Even if this is the case i could not afford to run it right now anyway

she only has 40k ive had it since new on the clock only really used for my work commute wish is a ten mile round trip .

i have a new sump which was never fitted also it has the CD player which also has a sony mini disc instead of the standard tape.

Just wondered if anyone here would be interested before i call the scrappy . I assume im best to sell the wheels and the CD play separate.

what colour are the door cards/trims? I'm looking for a set with the black cloth inlays.

Does it have the fitted roof bars?

If it's a sedan than I'm after the electric boot release assembly.
