Lights won't go down?!?

Ok, so been fiddling with changing buls and making all things clean. I disconnected the battery to be sure, and now the lights won't go down unless you turn the engine off?

Any ideas?

Checked all wires and connectors?
Fuse and switches?

Yup; I suspect that it is a dodgy ground now; will be ripping it all apart at the weekend. As I don't drive at night during the week, I've just removed the main fuse for now

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!

Reverted all changes, and they still come up when you turn the ignition on. Checked all grounds and wiring I can get to and it's all fine.
Fuses are good, and the button works when the ignition is off.

Any ideas?

How many fuses are there for the retractors?
