In the dark on this one

Hi all

The thing is my dashboard lights are not working.
ALL the lights work except dash and button illumination.
Tried all fuses and looked all over for loose or broken wire.
The dimmer switch is looking suspicious does any one know
wich wires to bridge on the plug to bypass it?
Any other suggestions on other faults are welcome

I would try another dimmer switch

My V6 has no dimmer on the dash lights.

I'm not sure which wires to bridge on the dimmer switch to be honest, so I'd try another dimmer switch as Marc suggested - much easier :thumbleft:

take the switch apart.. you should see that it will be 1-2 and 3-4 or something similar.

Had some fun last night with my test light and if i read this right
illumination is red and red/black .
And i´m not finding current on either so going to try and back track them over the weekend.

I think it uses phasing, rather than resistance, so be careful

if everything else works except for the dash lights, you're 100% looking at a burned out dimmer.

hey mate, I just fixed the exact problem with my 323f. I was also wondering about the fuses & wiring stuff. But in the end I found out that the bulbs were broken, and it was a big relief

So have you tried some new dash bulbs??
