They've got like, 170 standard if I'm not mistaken?

170hp and thats NA! I would easily import one as my next car if it wasnt for the 4wd (yay) and the associated hassles of it using non-uk spec parts (boo). A potential nightmare to maintain

I'd also like to have a garage first so I could make sure it stays as rust free as possible.

well pretty sure the back end will be just parts used on other mazda models. Might have a MX5 or RX7 rear end in it so you will be able to get parts.

I can only assume he wants an Impreza rather than a Justy but even if his car was mint with no dodgy bearings, rust and lost MOT papers he'd be very lucky to find someone that wants to do that deal!

Aldi selling (apart from cheap ale) Lots of car care stuff, wash mitts, sponges, carnauba wash wax and lots of other car stuff. Also noticed for 20 quid , what looks like a good multi tool, like a dermal . Well worth a look if you have a local store :thumbright:
