Cheers guys :thumbright:

still learning, but the repair went well for my first attempt :D

must give credit to paints4u too,
as well as producing great colour matched paint, they provide a helpful scatch repair kit and guide sheet.

Just fitted my new wiper-arm mounted washer jets, very good kit from Stormwipers :thumbright:

They look very neat and subtle, hardly obvious with the bonnet closed:

Image

They work very well, with 4 adjustable jets on each wiper arm.
My main reason for buying them was to stop the water etching marks on my bonnet, from the spray and drips from the original bonnet mounted ones.

I managed to run the original feed into a T- piece and from there into each new jet.

Final pics of the mounted jets:

Bit of fiddling, but pleased with the results :D

Here's the link that I used to get in touch with Stormwipers:
You need to scroll down the page, to the optional extras to the "Wash Wipe Upgrade"

Very nice Howie!
You know what that means though?
1. You need to get rid off that wiper spoiler and close the fitting holes.
2. (and more annoyingly) For a cleaner look you should remove the original jets and close those holes as well! It's those suddle things that make a cool clean look afterwards :)

Cheers Chris,

I quite like my wiper spoiler, especially now its shiny and colour coded, and it hides one of the new jets as well :D

Also getting a good finish on the old bonnet jets too: ;)

Image

In no hurry to remove them yet :evil4:

Thought it was about time for my next update ;)

With the better weather, I've got on and painted the replacement for my damaged passenger side flute :(

Image

As mentioned at the end of last year I bought a set of Sparkle green flutes from Sandman.

Mounted and primed:

Image

Then put on some layers of Noble green,
and finally applied the lacquer layers today:

Image

Pleased with the colour and finish so far :D

I applied several layers of lacquer to enable me to do a bit of careful wet-sanding, compounding and polishing to get the shiny mirror finish I'm after
Will put up some more pics when its finished. :D

Must admit that seeing it shining in the sunlight today made me realise why I love the Noble Green colour so much  :evil4:
