I'm about to do some mods that require a permanent power source so I'm gonna have to draw a new wire from the battery to the inside. Am I to connect it directly to the battery with a new fuse or can I use an existing one, and which ?

Depends on the power it needs, just as Danny said what mod is it?

if its for something like an amp or there abouts, a fuse would be use full I'd say.

Well I'm thinking of bypassing the ignition for windows control and doing some lighting in random places. I figured there must be something fused that I can attach to ?

No ideas? I'm thinking maybe connecting to the line that powers the clock or something.. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

There is a constant 12v supply underneath the ignition. Its the red wire on the far right. Easy to get to. If you want a pic gimme a shout and i will get one for you.

Dont know about the fuse, sorry, its the constant 12v ignition supply. You attach central locking upgrade to it. I will get a photo.
