swap front seats?

The drivers seat is showing some wear'n'tear now and i was wondering if i could just swap them over? the two front seats? coz then, the area with the most wear would be on the inside of the passenger seat,if that makes sense!

wot tools are needed and how hard is it? :roll:

i don't know much about the BG models.. but the BA has different mounting points between driver and passenger side..

Won't work I'm afraid, the seatbelts are also connected to the seat so they'd be on the wrong side, and the mounting points are different. I've got a spare set of BG GLX front seats if you want em'? Both in VERY good condition, and I mean VERY good.

You can swap the seat covers over, fiddly, but can be done. Get yourself up here, and we'll happily help

do the covers sorta peel off ??? from underneath???? Will have a look tomorow!

The covers are secured with metal "staples" which can be opened up with pliers. It isn't an easy job, but if you have the time and patience

I did this to Cavalier seats once, to wash the covers. Its easy enough to see how it works once you take the seats out. :wink:

if needed i have a set of gt seats at my mothers need cleaning but no tears in em was gunna put em in mine but found cobras at a gud price
so they got left in garage waiting for me to either find a buyer or bin em
anyone wants em then take em u will need to bolt them on to ur subframes tho as i pinched them to make the mounts for the buckets

Are there no Creon's in the UK? I'll think it's a type ,that's only made for the Holland market. Color is Deep Purple Mica. This type has bucket seats from the GT en has leather parts. More options: electrical windows, electrical mirrors, Momo leather steering wheel and hub. Here a photo of the Creon seats:

Hi,
I was able to install Mazda MX5 NA seats into my 323 BG sedan/saloon (it has four doors) with the original rails from the 323. The seat frame from the MX5 seats needed to be measured and drilled at the front of the seat frame to fit and aligned properly. I used New high tensile Bolts to secure them. This allows the seats slide smoothly on the rails with the original 323 seat levers.
