Funny thing with pattern brake disks ... I haven't bought Mazda discs yet, but when I still had my VW Passat, I could buy "pattern" discs from the general motor spares shop for about R120, or OEM VW discs from VW for about R500. The funny thing is, both transactions would result in identical ATE brake discs, except the OEM ones come in a fine box with "VW" printed on it. The same holds true for the pads ...

Bought a set of front discs a few weeks ago from a local parts dealer, just normal discs can't remember the brand, they cost £50, and fitting was a doddle.
Just remember to re-grease the caliper bolts when re-assembling them to make it easier in the future!

together with new pads the car is now stopping very well
