As per the question. I haven't got a false floor, and don't really want one again.

My amp also doesn't appear to have any mounting holes, so I would need to do something about that.

Go!

Thats where I'm planning to put it, but not sure by what means yet. No mounting holes on it, so other than velcro I'm kind of out of ideas.

velcro might do, otherwise secure it with straps?

I've had it apart to repair it too, and theres no way I can add holes :(

Depending on how well (or not) the amp performs I may replace it anyway and this time I'll make sure I get one with holes in. Otherwise yeah, I'd just screw it down into the metal of the back seats.

You can get heavy duty hook & loop fastener - it's pretty good stuff :)

Well you could do what I did. Just mounted two amps upside down on the bottom of the parcel shelf. Works a charm ;)

You sure there no mounting holes? Some amps have little n shaped cut outs on the edges?

No holes at all, its a good 10-15 years old this thing and I can only assume it had some kind of metal or plastic bracket that went with it originally.

Few days after posting this thread up I just sat it in the boot, and its remained in place ever since, not exactly elegant but hey. Expected it to slide about all over the place but seems okay.
