Sorted it the cheap way, leave the car at home.

I've heard about those CG lock's and everyone reckons they are awesome, make so much difference to driving. Must get one

I'm sorry to resurrect such an old topic but probably I'm getting old and I start to feel my BA is extremely bad for my back.
I have a Mazda3 as daily car and I can tell the difference in lumbar support
The 323F is being used for small trips so no time to get my back hurt but yesterday I did a bigger trip and it was hard

How do you solve this? I remember my father used and additional cushion
Is not a very good looking solution
Are there others rather than change the seat?
Probably a more correct seat adjustment would help but is there any guide for an ideal config?

Don't start saying you F is really confy because there are different variations Mine is a pre-ford BA

I find the BA doesn't have the best lumbar support, and no ability to adjust it either, not even on the leather seats. I found the leather more comfortable if only because it was firmer than my old/original cloth seats, but getting a full set in good condition is getting a lot harder it seems.

As for ideal position? Guess that's trial and error to be honest, forwards, backwards, up down. I tend to have the front of the seat raised a bit to support under the legs and lowered the steering wheel slightly to ease the arms and shoulders. But lower back, only really leaning the seat back a bit helps but that's not how I like to drive, used to the sit up and beg of the old mini's

If you can weld maybe graft some comfier seats on to the BA seat bases

I've got rx8 seats in mine and they hug all the right places but not very forgiving

I've got quite a small chassis (as in I'm not fat) and have RX-8 seats in my BJ. I find them very comfortable long distance and short. I also don't fall out the sides of the seat when pressing on on windy roads.

I was considering those. Anything major about those? I'm happy with my ba lumbar support ('s reg) but they are too damn short. The headrest is between my shoulders not behind my head lol

I found they sit a little high ,so I'm going to try and make them sit lower. I'm short and my head just misses the roof. Admittedly I don't have the laid back stance that most have in their cars

I can't afford that luxury, I like to sit rather straight so In my current seats I can't even get my flat palm over my head. Any idea if I could just replace the top of the seats or extend them? I love my seats, they just aren't long enough lol
