Hi , my lever inside my 91 323f doesn't open the petrol flap unless I wedge it up with something, I'm assuming it's a stretched cable just wondering how I can tighten it any help appreciated

Hi it could be the metal spring inside the petrol cap. Open the petrol cap and adjust the spring accordingly i had the same problem but luckily it was the spring not the cable i hope that helps.
If it is the cable I have never replaced one but it should be a case of following it back to the fuel cap inside the car I don't think you can tighten it you may need to replace it
