Right Mister "it doesn't get cold in Oz": you're obviously posting all these wrecks, out in the open, widely spaced in bright sunshine to wind me up!

4C at 10am and raining this morning... yet it was about 6C at 8am, and it's not even winter yet...still at least it was windless and a fine arvo saw it crawl into double figures.
So what better time/weather than to go wrecker trolling...Saga as follows:
1) Whip out the old Yellow Pages ('cos wreckers are a bit 'old school' and tend to be in it still) and note down ones of interest
2) Off we go...
3) Results:

8 listed as of interest[/*:m]

0 listed Mazda specialists[/*:m]

1 possibly missed in Suburb I was in in the morning (somehow- I drove past it, will have another look)[/*:m]

1 closed today/this afternoon (will try during week)[/*:m]

4 disappeared without a trace, 2 of which were "Japwreck"/"JapParts"[/*:m]

A sum total of 2 useful ones:
[-] 1 has one BA. It even has alloys...but non-original. Grrr!
[-] last one had "nothing very good" when asked about alloys (well at least he was honest)
[/list:u][/*:m]

Drove around 2 more industrial areas to no avail[/*:m][/list:u]
Result: the sum total of one BA found, didn't have what I wanted and also had other cars stacked on it. At least its at the bottom and therefore in reach, as I've started thinking of a few bits'n'bobs to obtain (clip for rear parcel shelf, trim plugs, etc.)
Wrecker envy in progress...
