Interior lights won't switch off. Door earth break switches seem OK. Must be a short somewhere.
Anyone had this problem?

What's the main unit like, worth checking. Usually the door pins don't turn the lights on when they fail.
Check behind the pins, to make sure one of the wires isn't touching the bodywork???

Yep, we still have the original wheels...the series 1 alloys were made by Enkei, lighter than the later ones, definitely keeping them. We have another set of alloys for it, they were on mintie for a while, it's like National Tyres in my unit

Thanks for tip. I'll try that first, but I think it's OK 'cos it switches on and off OK manually.
I used to have a series 1 GT, it was my first BG - the best one I ever had. I intend to keep this GLX original but as it already has the boot spoiler (must have been an optional extra when new) I thought
the GT wheels might suit. It's got discs all round, too. I thought the GLX had rear drums.

GLXi ABS had discs all round. I have some fancy front discs if you want some, only on the car for about 16 miles...and they don't fit the GT, otherwise I'd slap them on there
