**Posted:** Wed Dec 25, 2013 8:51 pm

Evening all, since i now have a set of these beauties, I've just been wondering what everyone else has done with theirs, tinting, LED bulbs and so on and so forth

If you have done something with them, pictures would be nice :thumbleft:

Damn you sir, damn you

Exactly what I've been thinking

I'm presuming your's are the black ones?

They look great mate :thumbright:

Can't wait to get mine tinted now, any chance of some lights on pictures chap?

**Posted:** Tue Jan 21, 2014 10:40 pm

Has anyone used LEDs in them and if so which bulbs, how good and pictures please

**Posted:** Wed Jan 22, 2014 12:30 pm

Andy, your LED daft

**Posted:** Wed Jan 22, 2014 2:31 pm

**Posted:** Thu Jan 23, 2014 11:08 pm

Cheers Marc, been checking lots of ebay sellers recently and I just can't decide

They've got something that looks ok, just tried to send them a query but I can't see the security code graphic on my tab3

I'll bell them tomorrow :thumbright:

The one I like is this 382/ 1156 /BA15S / 13 SMD - RED, but will it act like a dual filament bulb, I'm doubting it, I need a 380, very sparse on ebay

**Posted:** Thu Jan 23, 2014 11:13 pm

Scratch sparse, just found the right search string

**Posted:** Sun Feb 09, 2014 11:40 pm

sorry you did say that in the in the first place

i just had chromed ones before i had the led ones, which sadly are not as bright as the chromed (both brake/side and indicators)

You mean the Silvertech bulbs Rich?

I have a had a setback on the LED front, the snazzy looking spider bulbs I wanted to use won't work in the Lexus tail lights, this is due to whoever designed the bulb holders being at best, slapdash and at worse a complete muppet, the left and right hand sides are 180 degrees different, meaning one bulb would point up and the other down, a**e!!!

and as i have now officially fallen out of love with these, they will be appearing in the for sale section very shortly...............

hope that helps anyway Andy

**Posted:** Sat Feb 22, 2014 7:35 pm

Mate, thanks for those :thumbright:

Can't see them though

Looking forward to finding out what you've got planned

**Posted:** Sat Feb 22, 2014 7:43 pm

Aha, managed to download them both to RealPlayer

Thanks man :thumbright:

I think they'd defo benefit from LEDs rather than incandesant bulbs

I WAS going to fit some of these....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2014-Hot-Red- ... 632wt_1348

Sadly as I mentioned above, they won't work

Need another solution

**Posted:** Sat Feb 22, 2014 11:24 pm

if you want the star effect, how about something like this -

not the right bulbs i know, but with a bit of "ship in a bottle" kind of work, you could experiment

if you get my meaning and would be completely unique and impossible to replicate exactly

What have you done with your Lexus taillights?????

Who is online
