No, because I was naive and I gave him the money on Paypal as a gift (like this, we don't have any fee or any kind of charge).
So, Paypal can't do anything when you paid "as a gift"... Moreover, J2K90 says to all of us in PM or email he was sorry for the delay or something else like that.. But after months..

I'm realistic, I'm in West South of France so I can't do anything from here to have a refund or something else.. So I hope the others will have something else from him or he will caught by the police for fraud on the internet.

I managed to get all my money back luckily. Tell your bank it was fraud. Mine gave me the money back straight away even though it was through paypal. They said they would contact the owner of the account that the money went to and if he cannot prove the item was posted, they take the money from him. The bank should be able to trace the funds.
Havent heard from them since, so I guess they got him.

My bank doesn't care... For my bank, I had send some money through paypal to someone.. It's not like a purchase for them, because I choose the "gift" option..

Ok, well in that case. I got duped the same way. Just wanted to match the dates as to when everyone else had the same issue. Same person referenced have pm messages as well. Find it all rarer strange as it's the same two users each time. This was a while back, I just left it as I contacted the bank and paypal but no joy. If it's all said and done then I'm just adding my piece. Wish I trusted my guy and didn't do the gift option on paypal.

I'll probably get slated for this but whatever name and shame matey - post what you've got publically! We have the rep system here (plus and minus signs under each user's profile on the left of all their posts) which you can use, but post your woes in this thread - I'm a big believer of naming and shaming if someone has wronged you!

But yeah, I'm with you on the gift option - I'll rarely do that now unless I do really trust the person on the other end!

Yeah so the last message was when i realized i'd been ripped off.
Feel like a bigger idiot now that i've read it again...

Just noticed this old post and thought I'd chip in that this shit ripped me off ages ago too. I paid him about £65 for a Blueprint cam tensioner that never arrived and lo and behold he could produce no proof of postage. I had a lot on my plate generally at the time and didn't have the time to pursue it so foolishly gave him the benefit of the doubt as others had vouched for him. Did the police ever do anything I wonder? It seems there was ample evidence.

Just seen this thread and hope everyone got sorted . Just had a look on facebook and he popped up or suspect it's him by his pics.
