measured up the bolt holes and they are spot on +/- 5mm, think it will do the job quite nicely

Go for it bet that will quite special

Looks nice

do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it

Ha ha ha so you guys think it will be a goer then eh? Me toon it will be on by the close of play next sunday.

If it doesent fit I will buy it off you lol

They fit straight on the civic 5 door

Make sure the bolts are all intact, they have a nasty tendency to shear off during removal or just spinning around in the spoiler

Now thats an idea go for it, bet it'l look awesome mate

I think it will look great as it is not over the top like some wings

cheers guys for all the comments, very positive too . And yes ayrton, thats what i am hopefully going to achieve, a good but modest approach. Of all the spoilers i had looked at(there were a few) this one i kept coming back to. .
fingers crossed andy this one will fit the bill, but if not, im up that way all being well at the weekend

Cheers Paul, I do hope it will fit for you as I think the spoiler will really suit the Ba

Be interesting as well as I've never seem one fitted to one

My favourite spoiler, I remember searching for ages for one then one came up in Stockton for £15, I jumped in the car and went straight down for it!

I couldn't find one this time around in my budget so I just went for the standard sport spoiler which I was given for free:)

It's called the highline spoiler if you need to search on eBay:)

not quite finished yet, but not far off so just a little sneek peek of progress so far, ill put the finished result in the car thread

ohhh yes. Think that is my second favourite spoiler I have seen on a BA. Even prefer it to the rx8 auto exe wings

wow.... cheers ayrton, im really pleased with the way its turned out, well almost, ive used a different brand of expanding foam, and now the top coat is on its starting to bubble through the tiniest bit, im gutted
if i cant stop the bubbling i have a back up plan, but not really the overall styling route i want to take...
not gonna let it beat me though ha ha

can you not rub it down and leave it for a week to proper set and try again

i thnik that might have to be the route to take, its popped out the section of epoxy resin, which is possibly the most crucial component to reduced sag and increase compression on the join...

edit......as i have just been reminded, i am terrible at the whole patience thing, and when i mentioned to deb your comment she nearly fell off the settee in shock......she is right though, and will hide the garage key so i cant get in there

Tell deb that is great lol

That looks great, looks right at home, can't believe I never thought of that spoiler when I had a ba:)

thanks again guys
im halfway through writing a guide on modifying a spoiler and ill pop it in the guide area
then it will just be a case of seeing what people come up with or inspired by...i think its just initially aprehension which holds people back a bit.

i want to learn how to use fibreglass now, i have an idea or two from my old accent days which can be adapted to the BA
