I'm thinking in replacing dashboard from BA 1997 to BA 1996... But i don't know if it will fit... What you guys think? Any of you done it before?

Don't see why it wouldn't. The dashboards are the same. Why do you want to change it?

Euro dashboards are differant.
The later ones are in one piece and have cupholders where the ashtray is and they have a digital dash.
Something that never happend in the UK

Yes, generally it would fit, but it's a hell of a job. The wiring looms of euro post ford/Pre ford are completely different - means, you've got to change all the wiring inside - dash wiring, door wirings, boot wirings...
The member Blue Flame on here tried to do the opposite job - he wanted the euro post ford dash instead of his preford but canceled it when he saw how many things he still had to change. And because he stopped the work, i don't know how much work it'd further be to change from digital to analog dash.

Yeah thats what I was wanting to do. Change to digital dashboard but its jot gonna happen.

I wonder why Mazda or Ford changed the dash in Europe for the last year or so when they never anywhere else.

Guess the easiest option mate is buy a pre ford euro BA if you want the dash.

Oh that's not good... I didn't know that much work will it take to just change the boards... It looks better then the 96' dash... I allready change the door panels from 97' to 96' and it fit perfectly, and the wirings are the same so no problem there. Guess the board won't be that easy. But I will try to change it in the future as I can get one for 20€.

Well thanks guys it looks like I'll be keeping my dashboard for now.
