By the sounds of it you have a BJ then
Have a read through the BJ forced induction section you might get some ideas!

I don't think there are any off the shelf kits so whatever your route, there will be custom parts!

Where are you based?

Expect it to cost more than what you originally budget for.
It's not simple converting cars from NA to Forced Induction.
You will need a new ECU either standalone or piggy back and alot of time spent researching what to do.

If you just want more power then your best bet is looking for a 2.0L Sport model, if you want to turbo it purely for the challenge then good luck and read through the forced induction sections of the site for more information.

It is deffernently a (Ba) 1.6 can i do a engine swap or is that more of a pain in the A. Because of having to deal with certificets. If i was to turbo my car how much would you guys think it would cost and how much power could i get out of it. The car has only done 114000km

The car has done 114000km... So you're in Europe? There is no 1.6 engine in the BA models. There is the 1587cc or something like that model engine which is just the 1.5... it's called Z5 and there is allot of troubles with getting that turbo'ed.

Usually I'd say recon 5000 euro for a basic turbo project. It's easy to spend allot more if you'd like but as a minimum I'd say you'd need 5000 euro, and then not in the long run. But right away in one go...

The 1.5 is 1489cc, there definitely was a 1.6 engined BA available, not in the UK but somewhere in Europe I believe, we've seen them on here before?
