everything was going to well...
so i tried to sort out why the electric aerial was not working. after pulling out the stereo a bunch of loose wires exploded out like an afro rainbow and took my clock out and internal lighting! where would the fuse be?
think i will pay someone to do re wire the stereo i thought maybe a loose wire but bloody hell theres more loose wires and a choice of colours to show up a dulux colour chart!

can anyone tell me at least what ive blown and that it just a fuse somewhere. central locking seems to work still!!

Can't help you with the stereo but there's a fuse box in the drivers side footwell. Just under the bonnet release I think behind a plastic cover. Number 2 fuse is for interior lights. All the fuse diagrams are in the handbook but unsurprisingly, they're on here too

The fuse box under the bonnet is for the bigger stuff like lights, ignition etc. I know us blokes aren't supposed to read instruction manuals but sometimes they come in handy

managed to get the interior lights back and rear lights that id blown. cant find the clock fuse though am i being a muppet
trip to halfords tomorrow to re wire the stereo it was broken any way!

'Room' is all interior stuff like lighting (except for some dash), clock, head unit, err... leccy aerial I believe too.

yeah this one was blown, i replaced it but no clock, dont know what ive done. just emailed a local guy about fitting a stereo so hopefully he can sort that out, bit cheaper than halfords! never was any good at electrics

the clock was working this morning and halfords fitted me a new stereo in seconds! there was a whole bunch of crap wires taped together i didnt even need. the guy at halfords said he has no idea why someone would do that!
they got a deal on for easter o got one for £70 fitted! looks miles better now.

Glad you got it sorted pal. As with anything, it's easy when you know how! Should've got him to wire a sub in the boot since he did it so quick

i was going to ask him to look at the reversing sensors they put in and the alarm! i think the last guy must have got a deal on bulk buy wiring lol
