i was just wondering if anybody has conected the front maplights to turn on when the door is opened like the light in the back? also is it possible to make the light in the boot turn on when the boot it opened? i was thinking about going to the breakers to get a door open solenoid thing!!!!!!

the boot light should turn on when you open the boot as standard!

the map lights would be easy enough to do, just a case of running wires.

i think its a micro switch in the boot latch

ahhhh maybe its shot then!!! or my version never had one!!!

I did the map light trick in my other BA

MUCH better with it that way, but you do have to take down the roof lining to get at things properly and run a wire... so its a total ball ache of a job and I only did it because I was 'modifying' my sunroof at the time. Also you need to use two 3amp diodes on each map light or you won't be able to control any of the lights separately.
