Not been around much due to starting my placement, but I have been paid and need supplies :D

This is what I currently have... (and don't need more of, yet)

Ultimate compound
Endurance tyre gel
Deep crystal polish
Supreme shine
Tech wax spray
NXT shampoo, might need some more of this soon

Now, I know I need more detailer, clay, and some decent wax at some point. But, what should I go for? So many options....

My shopping basket (all on Monza currently) currently has:
Fast dry water blade
Monza's own twin pack of polishing pads for the DA
Monza Clay bar
Dodo juice Born Slippy
Megs tyre dressing applicator pad thing
Megs APC
Aquagleam water filter

Suggestions for waxes, and anything else I should try? Not looked at this stuff in what seems like ages :(

Agree with DMS, Howies prices are the best by far, also I have used the Meg Ultimate wax, wow, what a great product, easy to apply and buff and leaves the most amazing shine and beading, check the Ossie thread for pics of the shine and beading.

I know of Howie's epic pricing :D a few bits I need to get from Monza though so I'm looking there for now, but when it comes to actually buying I'll drop Howie a PM for the Megs stuff.

Need more ideas for what I should give a try. Daz - anything you've got that you'd recommend?

Nick, im far from being an expert, What sort of thing are you looking for? anything your not happy with?

Meguiars Ultimate polish and the paste wax id definitely recommend and the Megs paint cleaner. Clay the whole car, then use the paint cleaner before using the machine with ultimate compound. Follow up with the polish and wax, your car will be gleaming :thumbleft:

Just interested in opinions :) Detailer for example, almost run out of that, is the ultimate one worth it over say the standard quik detailer? Have the Dodo juice one on my list after reading about it a while back, so it just stuck in my head, not definitely going to get it though, open to suggestions on anything.

Car is looking very unloved :( has had one half arsed wash in the past month

Remove the drying blade, they can scratch.
Ultimate detailer is not for use with the clay bar, but inbatween wax sessions or a nice quick clean up a shows.
I would recommend the Meg's smooth clay kit, this has , the right detail spray, clay bar and a pot of paint cleaner.

Ive got ultimate Wax , its good. i also liked the Dodos rain forest rub.

Had the smooth clay kit before, considering how long its lasted I'll go for another one of them then :thumbright:

Thinking about it, I wouldn't need the drying blade if I get the water filter, so that saves some pennies :)

Do use a drying blade - it is the best thing on glass by far

UQD is totally different to quick detailer - you can't use it for claying - use the monza clay lube, it's great :)

Monza's pads are ok, but harder than the megs ones, so for final polishing get a megs black one ;)

Okay, so won't get Ultimate quick detailer, will likely get another smooth clay kit, keeps things simpler :)

Conveniently I have a nice fresh unused black Megs pad still sat in its bag somewhere :)
