BA - Maddy in banzai mag! XD

Hi all,

So i finally managed to get myself a project to start work on. Definately needed some tlc after being left idle for a few months so i decided to spend all day cleaning and figuring out various other things (looks like i might be needing some help

).

On the wants list:
Flutes
17" alloys
lowering
new drivers front window (scratched quite badly

)
boot spoiler

Anyway here she is (ive decided that her name is now Maddy

)

Just got her home

First thing is a bloody good wash and clean out
Brother doesnt look impressed, kids aye!

Work begins

quick blast of black spray (excuse the dirty finger marks :P )

Nice bum

Luckily ive managed to talk the parents to letting me keep Maddy on the drive so shes gonna get some serious TLC over the next few months

Hey all,

Spent the day cleaning and polishing today seeing as the weather was playing ball. Watcha think bearing in mind all i had was some £2.99 polish and some old pants :P

Looking forward to getting my new shiny bits this week and wheels should make a big difference. Hopefully she will be ready to take to Japshow.

I thought it had a good colour to it before, excellent work

I wouldnt put as much polish on as you have done, it'll take a lot longer to remove. I only work a small area at a time and find it easier :thumbleft:

yeah i usually do it panel by panel DMS but thought id try sumet different today

it was a bit harder to get off but same result

Done a few things when i got in tonight.

badge needs work me thinks

tried some light tinting spray on the repeaters as well, not sure whether it needs another coat or even if i like it

Hey all,

heres a few pics of the updates ive managed to get done this week. Ive replaced the front calipers,discs and pads and obviously the new wheels :P Lowering springs are on the way so thats next weekend's task and also new rear shoes. Anyway heres a few pics

horrible old brake stuff

painted rear drums.... funds just dont warrant upgrading to discs just yet :'(

new brake work on the front (i know its rather basic but funds are low and my job doesnt pay enough, ask nathan (323f rock)

Looking a bit more sexier with the new wheels and brake stuff!

the ramps are home made matey and are much smaller than they look on the photos

plus it hasnt been lowered or anything yet so its still like a 4x4 atm

I think you should machine polish maddy, the paint has great potential i think, and as you said, when the springs arrive they will make a great diffrence.

What size tires?

Went out and spent a considerable amount on cleaning stuff so hopefully ill get a chance to use them this week

(if it doesnt lash down with rain as usual!). Borrowing a machine polishing thingy magic this week aswell so lets see what results that brings.
