yup same... even the BG one
all of the non-VVT BP valve cover gaskets are the same

so that's from 89 up to 2000[/quote]

Weird - the BG has a separate cambelt cover, and looks totally different to the BA and MX5s :shock:

Ahh - the rocker covers are interchangable too

to an extent anyway - putting a BG rocker cover on a BA leaves your timing belt exposed, and you'd have to cut off and blank the oil breather to get either on an mx5 :evil4:

I've seen the BG ones on MX5s - done to expose the cam pulleys

It appears the gasket set you possess is like the FS's gasket kit... it has a new set of intake shutter screws, and all of the gaskets belonging to the intake manifold.

since only the european ZM had a VICS system, this kit only is available in europe... but the FS kit (FSY1-13-SRZ) is the same worldwide, and the FS kit comes with a slip of paper with a parts listing inside.

Is there any way of telling how many splines (or just a part number) that my car's CV joints have?

The pictures on the epc, drawn by Sansitsu Kodorsi aged 8 ¾ arnt clear enough to count splines matey – so its just part numbers :sad:

Thought as much. I'm assuming BAs with 26/24 joints and ones with 26/23 joints would have different part numbers for them. Can anyone tell from my reg what part number I'd need for CV joints? I think it's a long shot since my car was aimed at the JDM.

I haven't got access to my EPC at the moment, would someone be able to tell me if it shows bolts?

Need to remove something from under the bonnet and the bolts are rusty, so I'm quite sure they'll snap on removal and I'll be needing new ones.
