Could someone please tell me how I get to the wires under the rear speakers? I don't have a haynes manual (both links to piratebay appear to be broken ) and don't want to break any panels in the boot trying to access them. One speaker farts, the other doesn't work at all, so planning on replacing both with the ones from my old car...

any help would be much appreciated cheers

The only speakers in the back of a ba is in the back doors.

Mine is a BG (1990) - there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to remove the panel below the speaker (mounted next to the parcel shelf). unfortunately someone's tried to access them from the top and ripped the clips from the material in the process

Wrong section then mate. sorry can't help on with the car, i know nothing about BG's

oops

As far as I remember, there's three plastic clips holding that speaker mount into place. They shouldn't be hard to remove. The wire for the speakers is directly below that son of a b*tch I'm sorry if I misunderstood the whole thing

i finally worked it out, you just pull up the speaker covers to reveal the speaker (it has 3 clips, is that what you meant?) then unscrew it from the top to get at the wires underneath.

but as Lethagized said, wrong section...

I threw my speaker covers away - they were blocking the sound My speakers themselves were held into place by three plastic clips, but I guess screws would've worked too
