still cd's ?

just wondering if you guys still listen to cd's in the car?
or usb stick
or
memory card?
do you still buy cd's?

i used to listen to cd's but you get too many problems with cd's
they scratch too easy ect.

Yeah i still have cd's.
Have just been given a Ministry of Sound player with usb port etc but can't get it to work (might just be me :oops:

). cd and Radio fine so whether i just don't know how to work it or its buggered :dontknow:

(no instruction book but then i did get it for nothing :roll:

Nah i watch music DVD's and have one of those visor DVD/CD holder so they never get scratched.

i use cds sometimes but most of mine are scratched thanks to my brother i have a little creative mosaic 8gb pluged in the aux

Down load them leaglly from a totally legal source and pay the appropriate fees to the artists.

Or if you go into DVD shops you can purchase these in the music section. Dont buy live editions of concerts, the sound is crap.

Cds here but I can connect an mp3 player to the head unit.... I personaly still like cds as I fell I actually own someting other than the music be electronical ... if you understand????

I use MP3 CDs most of the time, but obviously 650mb of songs isn't a massive playlist. In the process of designing a custom iPhone holder though - then I'll be sorted

i use mp3 cd's as well. 4/5 albums on the one disc. my sony head unit can skip albums/ playlists as well as songs, plus its got the aux port for ipod when on long jouneys.

if you look after your cd's they don't scratch.

I use dvd/sd/bluetooth double din 7"screen and mostly i am using 4gb sd card and also if somebody want listen own music we enjoy music from his phone by bluetooth!
but usually I play a video clips downloaded from youtube!

Ipod touch connected to Pioneer head unit.. Has all my music on it, easy to operate, switch songs etc and no problems regarding sound quality =)

The Quattro has a 6 CD changer in the glove box, and 2 x SD card slots behind the SAT NAV screen of the head unit..........and I tend to use the 2 4GB SD cards more :thumbleft:

Fusion IP500 iPod docking H/U - no routing cables through your dash or trying to find the connector in the dark. Radio could be a bit stronger but otherwise it Feeds The Wombats!

Havent bought a CD in years, mostly listen to livesets from DJs
downloaded from the interwebs...

CDs yes, but only with Mp3 or WMA on them... Ive got AUX in
so occasionally the proper mp3 player comes allong...

No USB as I fundamentally HATE usb, its just the cheapest sollution
that kinda works, half of the time. Its shit I hate USB, did I mention
I hate USB, well I do, I hate USB.

i use mp3 cds
also use the aux connection for ipods
ive noticed that the volume is far lower using the aux connection than cd?
any1 else notice this?

yea its lower voltage that comes out of mp3 players otherwise you'd blow your ears out with the headphones.
luckily the amp i use has large input range down to the level of an ipod so i can plug it straight in. would be better with a small pre-amp (essentially what the head unit does) to bring it up to a higher level but you want each stage running at less than max gain to avoid distortion. and my amp is powerful enough to deafen me at half gain so wooooo
