hey quick question thats been buggind me. Why is a 323 ba 1.8 GLX in a higher insurance group than a 1.8 Executive? Do the GLX have something the Executive dosnt??

cheers

does GLX have ABS?

nope mine doesnt

you can tell if you open the drivers side door there is a white sticker with all the details about your car

it is located just to the left of the door seam have a look it has a section for ABS, i have an LXi and it says ABS: N - which means no!!!

Another Way Is When You Turn The Keys In Ignition The ABS Light On The Dash Should Come On For A Few Seconds But As Far As I Know The GLX Did Not Have ABS - Only The 2.0L V6 GLX, The 1.8 Executive And The 2.0L V6 ZXI Had ABS.

Looking At Parkers Guide Though Both 1.8 GLX And 1.8 Executive Are Same Insurance Group 12.

Another way is to slam your brakes on hard in the wet!!

hmmmmm lmao... I wonder what would happen if you found out you didnt have ABS ???? my thoughts would lead to fun lol, well for the spectators anyway

In my case, you end up needing a new headlight, bumper and bonnet

Mark

mine is a GLX and it doesnt have ABS. It has:

Driver/passenger airbag
leccy front windows
leccy sunroof
Remote central locking
PAS

and maybe some other stuff.....now whats the exec got?

My exec had the same as above plus

ABS
Walnut Dash

errr cant think of anything else

Was it real Walnut then ... hmmm me thinks it was plastic with a walnut coating in plastic lol .... tell me if I am wrong tho;)

Mine is also a GLX and has the above except remote central locking but has alloys and leccy rear windows - sooooo nice.

Mine has a cobra alarm with a radio remote keyfob thungummy - altho alloys would be nice rather than my steelees!!! lol

Thinking about it.... it wasnt per chance a 323F 1.8 GLX and a 323 1.8 exec was it?
