Just brought this mazda 323f 1989, There is a JVC head unit fitted and all wires seem to be in order , but the electric antenna isnt working when the radio is powered up , How do i get to the antenna to check it out ? ive had a quick look and cant see where to access it ? also there is a black and yellow wire loose in with the wiring loom by the radio, could this be anything to do with it ?
thanks for any help ,and the use of the forum .

i'm not 100% but i'm sure the bg boys have sad before that the aerial isnt electric

This one is definately electric , cant hear any motor noises when radio is switched on , perhaps a different head unit is needed ? and there is this yellow and black wire thats at a loose end . The panel in the boot looks ok to get off and i will be looking at it this weekend , if all else fails i dond mind swappin the electric one for a manual type
thanks fpr the reply Matt

It's not electric... I had the original headunit wired up how it was originally when I bought it and it didn't have electrics...
