A year on and whats changed?

Handling - Front upper, front lower and rear strut braces. Waiting until better weather to fit them, the ride is firm enough without adding them on in the shit weather we're having just now!

Induction - K&N FIPK

Brakes - Awaiting arrival of Nitrac 16 groove front and rear discs with Ferodo DS2500 pads front and back (£540 delivered, really cheap!). Currently running standard discs with EBC red pads after setting fire to OEM pads last summer.

Goodridge brake lines with zinc plated ends.

Also Lower Master Cylinder Servo Brace to arrive (being made and shipped as we speak).

Other - Engine torque dampener. Basically stops the engine from moving during quick changes and the sudden, albeit tiny, lose of power. Again to be fitted.

Cheers. I'll be buying Cusco front and rear ARB soon, S2KI has a group buy on at the moment. I was going to buy them with the brakes but this year's mot was a bit evil to me :(

See I would but the only way you will get a realistic increase in power is by supercharging or turbocharging. It'll cost about £4500 or so and makes the car fast in a straight line. Due to the excess weight in the front end, the car becomes less useable as a track toy because of the effect on handling.

You friend's car looks nice, is he a member on S2KI?

I'd love to have mine supercharged but I really couldn't justify the running costs. Plus insurance would be around the £2k mark and I couldn't use the car over winter.

The best mod you can do to these cars is a performance driving day to really learn how to handle one, I'll be doing knockhill's one soon once the weather perks up a bit.

If you like lazy power, 350z is a great car. For a focused driver's car, s2000 wins hands down!
