purple?

It's more burgundy to me

**Posted:** Sat Feb 07, 2009 4:55 pm

Just be sure its the right colour, there are two very similar colours. Passion rose and Oriental rose which are very close to each other. I think the passion rose is the slightly darker of the two. I'm just going off the fact that my Figaro was Passion rose and Qube's is a Figaro too. I'd check the sticker on your bro's car to make sure so you don't have to paint twice and pay for two cans of paint :thumbleft:

Oh my god!! i tried al the local shops and none of them stock the colour!!!!

halfraudsters said they could mix it and make it for me but there is a slight problem

under the bonnet there is a sticker which says

CALYPSO RED and then there is a 6-7 digit number
so am not sure whether that is the paint code that i need or if i should just stick to that passion rose colour?

**Posted:** Sun Feb 08, 2009 9:33 pm

The sticker in the driver's door frame will have the paint code on it. It'll be two numbers and a letter usually like mine is 12K and the Passion Rose is 11L. :thumbright:

hmmm if i go 2 the local mazda (plaistow) do you reckon they will have it in stock?
and they should be able to get me the correct colour against the registration right?
otherwise ill have to go to am panel and paints and ask them to make some for me

i dnt really want to be paying too much for the paint becuase i wil be using quite alot of it

i also wanted to add, there are couple of dints in the bonnet on ma brothers car which i will be filling with filler soon, do i need to use a different paint on the bonnet? perhaps heat resistant?

my dark green ZXi SE claims on the brochure it is 'Emerald mica paint' but the sticker in the door says 16P which is Vivid Green mica

i guess they are the same thing for anyone else confused... or is it just me?

**Posted:** Sat Jun 12, 2010 11:44 am

My sticker says it is Twilight Blue mica 12K

**Posted:** Sat Jun 12, 2010 1:13 pm

I think Vivid Green and Emerald Green are very very close to each other, if not the same. It's the 16P bit that's important anyway

Twilight blue is common, post ford version of Noble Green

EDIT:
Vivid Green 16P
Emerald Green 18J

I think that's right, someone can confirm :thumbleft:

According to this the ZXi SE is Emerald Green

**Posted:** Sat Jun 12, 2010 9:16 pm

I thought post ford version of noble green, is noble green

**Posted:** Sat Jun 12, 2010 9:22 pm

Wait...you might be onto something

There is noble green 1, and noble green 2...

**Posted:** Sat Jun 12, 2010 9:30 pm

**Posted:** Sun Jun 13, 2010 1:00 pm

Yep, 2 Noble green's and Twilight blue mica is a different colour

**Posted:** Tue Sep 21, 2010 8:10 pm

The sticker on my door reckons my car is 11N, which, correct me if im wrong, is one of the green colours right? only problem my car is BLUE!!!!
anyone shed some light? the chassis number matches!

**Posted:** Tue Sep 21, 2010 8:16 pm

11N is Noble Green I think - it does look blue...and purple...

my BA was noble green - I went to the dealers and said "I want to look at the blue 323f"..."oh, the green one" he says..."No, the blue one"..."yep., that's green"...
