My first car was a 1995 prefacelift 1.0L Micra K11. I started to modify this while still on a provisional licence, I had a full licence for another 6 months until I was involved in an accident.

Not wanting to sell my bucket seats and various other parts, I decided to buy a 1998 facelift 1.3 Micra K11. I owned this from 2008-2013

I was lucky enough to have it featured in 2 magazines, Total Nissan and Banzai Magazine.

During that time I purchased a 1989 1.0L 4spd VW Polo Breadvan to use as a winter car. Purchased for £100 with only 32k miles, the interior was spotless.

I decided to do a rat look with this, but swayed more towards a military style



The Micra got broken for parts and I purchased a 1990 1.6 Mazda MX5. This was going to be a stepping stone into the world of drifting. The car started off as white, I got hit while on track so painted it in Military tan using a roller, hand painted some sharks teeth on it too



I then turbocharged it on my driveway, went back to a drift practice 11 months on from the last time and got hit again, DOH! Painted it white and added alot of Carbon Fibre, turning it into a fast road car



It's fate was met when a braided oil cooler hose made contact with the alternator, causing an engine fire in 2013.

Owning the white then beige then white MX5 really made me fall in love with the platform. I was determined to carry on with building one. A friend had seen about the fire and offered me an extremely solid import 1.6 which needed some work.

Fast forward 5 years and there was no panel left untouched. The spec list was huge and featured a list of very sought after parts along with a supercharger conversion. The car was featured in Banzai Magazine and Fast Car Magazine, both having different body styling.

It was time to let go and move onto purchasing a dream car.

It's still my favourite build to this date, I think it's because every aspect got changed i.e exterior, interior, engine bay etc

The plan was to wait for the MX5 MOT to expire in September 2018, strip for parts and then begin the search for an Skyline R34 GTT.

I was searching the auctions in Japan with Torque GT for a tidy example when I found one for sale here in the UK. A road trip from Norwich to near Leeds to go view it and I drove home in it.

Its a 2001 Series 2 R34 GTT with the RB25DET Neo engine, 5 speed manual. I haven't gone too crazy with it because it is so clean.

I still have it, it's currently SORN'd for the winter



During the purple MX5 ownership I purchased a 2012 Facelift 2.2D Mazda 6 for daily duties. I only had this for about 6 months when I realised how expensive DPFs could be, plus I do short city drives for my commute.



That was replaced with a 2013 prefacelift 2.0 petrol Mazda 6 Sport. This has had a couple of changes including 30mm lowering springs, debadged front grille and some larger exhaust tips to fill the bumper. This is now the wife's car



Having 3 cars in the household wasnt enough so I bought another K11 Micra, this time a 2001 second facelift 1.0L with the intention to use it as a b-road basher

That soon spiralled out of control and turned into a full blown project. The 1.0L got removed and I fitted a 1.4L K11 engine but keeping the 1.0L gearbox for shorter ratios. The car was stripped and had a single bucket seat with harness and a half cage.

The faded red paint work got rectified with the help from some Graffiti paint. Myself and a friend PAINTED the livery on, the only vinyl applied were the logos



Every nut, bolt, washer, o-ring,gasket and sensor was replaced with new. The bay got painted satin black. It really did look awesome.

I did one track day and realised it wasn't quick enough for the straights. I sold it and bought the next project in 2021

The next purchase was a 2005 Mitsubishi Colt CZT. An odd qwerky car that you very rarely see on the road. I got the idea from spotting a lower spec Colt on the journey home from work and remembered they did a spicey version. Found this one in Felixstowe so not too far from me.

These have the same 1.5L turbo engine as the Brabus Forfour with a couple of minor differences. I spent alot of time/money on the performance side, purely because there isn't alot available for aesthetics.

This was the car which kick started my Youtube channel. It's a shame I didnt do it sooner because I think the previous cars would have been fantastic additions to the channel.

I gave a nod to the Max Power era, having grown up during that era I wanted to show an appreciation to it without going full commit. I made a few of my own parts, added underglow and I even found a set of TSW Venoms!



The Colt got sold after a friend had convinced me to buy an MX5 NC. I purchased this 2006 2.0L Sport in August 2022.

With my wedding fast approaching the coming Spring I couldn't do too much with the exception of servicing,maintenance and rust provention. Basically make it as clean as I can until after the wedding when funds would become more available.

Unfortunately it was involved in a hit and run and I had to make an insurance claim for a rear wheel arch repair and 2 alloy refurbs. I got the work done just before the wedding and soon sold it later on in April 2023



I tried to be sensible for the next purchase so I went for a 2006 2.2D Honda Accord, the idea was to have a cheap to run/maintain car that would help save me money. Little did I know this was going to be a nightmare from hell.

The list of parts that have been replaced is large, and it was all done within the first 4-5 months of ownership. Some parts didn't need changing, but were done as a 'while I'm there' kind of scenerio.

The car came on BC Racing coilovers, it had FN2 Civic wheels which I changed to some Work Emotion XT7s. This will eventually get sold when the 323F gets road worthy.
