Hi guys,im a 19 year old intern-nurse from Turkey.Maybe because of the fast and furious series, maybe because of the video games, maybe because my dad is a driver and my mom is a driving instructor i am in love with the cars since im 14-15. Currently im saving money for the 323F 1.6 GLX 1991 version,i know engine is older then me ,but im thinking about swapping it with an 318i engine(im still thinking). Some of my friends study automotive engineering and some of them are actual mechanics so i think they can help me with that as well. But yeah,im open to any kind of help or suggestions.

If it's a BMW 318i engine, those are longitudinal meaning the engine sits long ways due to it being rear wheel drive. I'm pretty certain the engine bay wouldn't be deep enough on a BG to accomodate such engine. Even if the bulk head was heavily modified, the dash certainly wouldnt fit. It would be easier and cheaper to just buy a BMW |
