Hello out there - I am new to this and looking to learn a bit more about the lovely KF V6 engine fitted to the 323F.

I have acquired a 2.0l V6 KF engine for a project - installation into a Triumph GT6 as 6 cylinders and 2 litres seemed to make sense..... however it was on an automatic gearbox. I found a brand new flywheel (Mazda spares box etc) which I thought would fit the Mazda MX5 manual gearbox I am using - it had KF stamped on it so seemed right, but it seems this was for a Xedos 9. Subsequent research has shown that the Xedos 9 was the only installation of this engine with a larger gearbox and clutch housing - possibly for the smoother less sporty feel of the exec saloon. So the KF35-11-500 flywheel I have has 116 teeth and not the more usual 112 teeth I was expecting. It is also slightly larger in diameter 298mm instead of the 289mm I was expecting.

My question is does the KF01-11-500 flywheel fitted to the manual 323F 2.0l V6 have 112 teeth and a diameter of 289mm as this is the one I have located as an alternative. It was fitted to the Mazda 323F and the Xedos 6.

Any help much appreciated
