Just wanted to say hi to all here. Im new to the forum. Just wanted to give ye alittle backround on my car history. I have driven Mazdas all my life bar one Toyota Starlet which was my first car. My first Mazda was a 93 BG 323F 1.6L Carb model, second a 95 BA 323F 1.5L, third a 98 MX-3 1.6L DOHC, fourth a 03 GG1 Maz 6 1.8L Touring and today I have both a 09 GH1 Mazda 6 Saloon 1.8L Sport and a 10 Maz 3 Saloon 1.6D Sport for herself. Im seriously thinking off getting a project 323F BA V6...I always wanted a V6 ether in the BA 323F or the MX-3..Back in the late 90's/ early millennium when I had the 323s and the mx .car insurance was too expensive to have a high powered V6 and I always swore down the line I would get one in latter years . I will post pics off my past and present Mazdas here soon. My early cars were modded ..but not OTT.. I will dig out the pics asap. Look forward to hearing from members
Regards Justin.

Hi Justin, and welcome! :D

Wow you've had pretty much the lot, Mazda-wise!

As for the V6, according to the "How Many Left" website there are only 67 left on the road in UK ... I don't know about on SORN, so you'll have your work cut out to find one in good working order. I've heard of two being gutted for parts in the last week though, so if you want a "project" you'll almost certainly find something if you're prepared to trailer it home.

There are 3 that regularly turn up to club events, though there might be more abroad or on the Facebook group.

Yes, do post your photos! :thumbleft:

Serena

Thanks for the reply guys. I had my eyes one a V6 over here on my side off the pond. It was imported down from Northern Ireland a few years back as it's a UK spec ZXi . When sold new in Ireland they were badged GT. Anyway it was a good runner bar the tin work and the chassis wad also rusty enough ...so I gave it a skip. 1.5s are still plenty full and cheap here . But I'm on the quest for grunt and power. I just need to be patient . Even an MX-3 would be nice to get also if I could not find an F..

Hi, well I drove a red 98 V6 for 6yrs & made the mistake of selling it. Tried a Passatt, Mazda 2 Tamura & am now back with a 97 V6, only one previous owner, 75K, goes like a dream, sparkle green ( i think thats the right colour name ). I have had a a Stainless back box fitted, slight deeper tone. Passed the MOT, now just enjoying the sound, bliss !
