Couple of wiring questions so I can finally install my alarm.

1) Which black wire to my ignition do I tap into for my alarm?

2) Where can I find my hazdard lights wire?

After I find those to tap into, I can finally get my alarm working. Only those wires to put in!

Can anyone help with either question? Please?

When you say black wire for ignition are we talking earth?
And any indicator wire should work as they all connect together for hazards.

Isn't there a black with blue stripe in there?

I have black/blue, black/red, black/white and blue.

OK. I found out with a multimeter, that the correct wire was black/white. SO I have a very basic alarm

Now I have to find out which one is for indicators (although I have found the correct plug) and central locking (again found correct plug). Only thing is, I have lost second half of instructions with rest of central locking on.

Does anyone know if the car's central locking is negative or positive polarity?

I'm trying to install my central locking via alarm. I have found what wires do what with voltage, but I couldn't get the alarm to make the central locking work. I also have now stopped my normal central locking from working .. somehow.

What would stop the central locking working? And what wires do I connect my alarm lock and unlock to?

Really need more details on the alarm mate.
Most use a "Earth when armed" system for operating the CL.
Also, do you have a central locking motor in the drivers door?
The BG didn't come with one as standard, just a micro switch in the drivers lock which operates the other doors.

Yer I know a bit vague.
Earth when armed is all the details I need, that proves it's a negative alarm system.

I have no motor as far as I know, just the switch (relay) under the steering wheel with 6 wires.

One is permament feed, one is ground, one is powered unlock, one powered lock, one power to lock, one power to unlock.

Now just to try combos of wires from my alarm to the plug. Hopefully also fix my CL at the same time.

CL broke because I burnt my relay out. Fixed that. Now as per above posts, where do I put my alarm wires, lock common and unlock common. When tested, all CL wires have no activity when alarm is activated/deactivated.
