Hey ! Just a topic to clarify as much as possible a point, I'm sure it can help someone later too ... If I take my case, I have a GT 140hp with BP05 engine. But here we go into troubles. To make it easy, his head-cylinders is completely dead, we can't save it, it's too much twisted. So the only option I have is to found another one. I noticed many "versions" on the BP05 : mine is BP05-3 for example, but elsewhere we can found BP05-10-100, BP05-5-1, BP05-9-2, etc. What does those references means ? Searching on MX5 forums and topics, Facebook groups didn't helped to make it clear, it may be the version changing with years of production ? And all those BP05, are they really interchangeable between them without any problem as some people think (and without notable power loss) ? Thank you for your lights !
