well spotted matey! #;o) yep, had enough of one rim being flat spotted in more then one place, thus damaging the tyre and despite several attempts of balancing..... always shakes the steering wheel! came across this amazing deal for a new set of 18's n tyres so went from them! shame really as I'd recently bought a new set of avon tyres and 3 out of the 4 are practically brand new! oh well.... not sure if I like them as much as the others but....... they'll do!

Bit of a thread-jack here, but since Kash mentioned this ^

Does anyone know why that is? As in, why, once lowered, does the F sit lower at the back than the front?

Am liking that RX7 by the way, will have one of those sitting on me driveway one day

some springs sets are a few mm lower at the back than the front anyway, could explain it.

The top of the front arches are just higher than the rears I think.

In Phil's pics above the arches look almost the same height, except on the last pic - maybe the ground is uneven?
Oh, looks like I may be right, you can see the ground sloping towards a drain on the right?

Anyway, I think I like these alloys better Phil :)

well spotted boys and yep on the uneven ground front #;o).... in addition in the bottom two pics I had my old set of rims n tyres on the bak seats.... so that'll have something to do with it sitting lower too!! #;o)

well.... picked up the rx yest from coventry and had a mellow cruise back to bucks following my best mate ( who was driving my 323f..... always odd but quite cool watching soemone else drive your car! ).... now have to clock up 500 miles not going over 3 - 3.5Krpm ( which is pretty tough, cos that's just getting on tap and she's wanting to get her boost on!! )... anyways, then an oil and filter change ....... and then another 1000 miles I believe before popping back to covenrty and getting her serviced, checked over, tightened up / loosened up where necessary.......

tis quite exciting actually.... think i might fly home and pick her up...... weather looks alright, so may pop out for a drive!! #;o)

That sounds like such a tease not being able to open the taps on her, I think if it was me I'd be taking myself on a nice round trip to rack up the miles straight away. Best of luck with it, it really does look like sweet car :thumbright:
