Hi. How to use full power of my BA? My top speed is 165km/h.

get more power.
lighten the car.
reduce drag.

remove excess weight in car, extra seats etc goes faster! or engine swap with a faster one.

Please don't post your top speeds on here unless you have proof you were on a private runway, we don't want a bad image for the club not to mention how irresponsible it is on public roads.

If you would like help with tuning your car you have one of two options, forced induction or naturally aspirated. You have posted in the forced induction forum so I'm guessing you would like a turbo or something ?

It would help if you posted what car you have, what engine you have and how many miles you have on the current engine, if you already have any modifications ?

But this is too slow... 165...

My 1.5 did 180 (and not 1 more) and the 1.8 did 210kmph... Both loaded with normal everyday stuff, and half a tank of petrol. No super big wheels, and the boot full of shit.

Disclaimer: It was done on the German unlimited autobahn and so is fully legal!

you don't need more speed than the speed limit allows you to have.

We wouldn't be able to tell you whether the car is under performing or not without knowing which engine you have.

The 1.5L's top speed is listed as 175 km/h (109 mph), it would take you ages to get to that speed though and top speed can be effected by wind and other conditions. Such as whether your on level ground or driving against strong wind.

Even a 1.5 should do a lot more then 165 indicated...

[/quote]At those speeds a satnav would read the actual speed as almost 8-10mph lower (not from experience or anything like that :roll:

but now i have other problem. when i try to pull off on 1 gear my gearbox have disposed 1st gear. This repeats few times each time.

I think he means he sometimes has trouble selecting 1st gear. Sounds like gearbox has gone in that case!
