on the current exchange rate, that price is almost £700

Personally i'd look for a GTX block for that price :thumbright:

Yes indeed, If you buy a BP engine and then all the shit needed
it's going to cost a fortune. Your much better off starting with a GTX
or GTR engine. Just alone for the pistons... lower pressure then the
normal n/a BP...

With all the bits included, turbo, manifold, intake, pressure
sensors, and all the other bits needed to run a boosted engine.

Find a Gseries 1.8 gearbox, v6 doenst fit...

edit

That kit is quite extensive by the way, it's all there, quite good for ebay!

Only the other bits you need are OEM and only found on the GTX/R engines.

Anything will fit anything... How much money do you have?

You cannot just plug some shit right up and expect it to work. ;)
It's called modifying for a reason you know!

As I said there are many more parts required to get it working,
it will fit as this will fit about anything requiring a turbo. The turbo
is too big for sticking onto a normal N/A BP engine though. And then
comes the rest. I like the kit though as a product they are selling.

Most people turbo charging their cars, as in these cars, spend atleast
4 to 10 thousand USD/GPB/EUR

*takes a look at excel spreadsheet... faints...

so of course it is important how much money is spent ....
of it all depends!
I purely informative interested in whether this is an appropriate set of ...
and I throw to first for the BPT!

For what it is worth, my personal experience, although on motor bikes, is if you want to turbo an engine, you must do it right the first time with all the correct components otherwise you will simple end up haveing to spend twice the money to rebuild after a melt down or give it all up and start with a new standard engine. Been there, done that and got the scares, wil post pic of the Bike in question later. Also remember that running a modified Turbo setrup is a high maintainence / cost exercise, fun but demanding.

You have a right ...
I agree with you!
so it is easiest to buy the whole turbo engine repair and pack it!
