Hi guys,

I'm asking about a BA (1995) with power windows + power mirrors.

Have any of you noticed anything similar to side mirror folding or window regulators or any other electronics not working after you park the car under the sun for a few hours?

This only happens on very hot days (35*C) and some days I won't be able to lower a window or some days 1 or both mirrors won't fold/unfold.

Not noticed this myself, and I use the windows/sunroof a lot, and we drive with the mirrors moved to suit whoever is driving! My windows winders are r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w in any weather but that's just age related. I'd suspect a bit of heat expansion of the metal/plastic might prevent the motors from being strong enough to move stuff. If you're worried, dismantle, clean and re-grease with whatever is meant to lubricate the mirrors/window winders.
