Hi all
I am wondering can 2003 mazda 6 steering wheel ( no buttons ) fit on to Mazda BA?

This may help:

not sure about trusting the airbag side and you have to drill new holes for the indicator reset thingamabobs. Pretty sure the splines are the same. Check one of the sites like MOMO and see what parts they spec for the boss's to fit the wheels for 323 and donor car maybe?

EDIT - http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=326429 3rd response down from 'jcc...' says they apparently all fit...

Jon

thank you very much... if I make it fit and working we will have another guide

It will physically fit you will have to re-drill the indicator self-cancelling holes (you'll see when you compare the new and old wheels) but it's really straight forward

As Dark_Jon says though, the airbag wiring isn't testable, so you either have to trust it or just go with the airbag disconnected (use a 3.3ohm resister on the car's airbag connector to turn the warning light off!)

I just spliced the airbag connectors together then wrapped with plenty insulation tape, battery disconnected and airbag system decharged first of course
Just made sure no one was in the driver seat when I reconnected the battery

I was always put off by having to re drill new holes, however as said it really easy if you make a template of the old steering wheel back first, the metal is really soft so a good drill bit will cut through like butter
