ive decided that the emgine now needs a bit of tarting up now that ive finally got it working properly again ,only problem is im having a nightmare tracking down high temp primer and top coat sprays. tried every high street shop, b&q wickes halfords etc, and while they have them they only have either white silver or black, im wanting to go for a nice shiney metallic blue. any help would be great
cheers

cheers guys for the tips/links, had a bash at ebay but cant seen to find the colour im after, yeah im a fussy bugger i'll admit......

the search continues

What are you painting? A lot of people just use standard spray paint with no issues

initially, im going to be doing, rocker box cover, manifold heat shiel and the metal trim where the hood stand clips into.

im also after a srtut brace too if anyone can point me in the right direction

I've got a ZXi strut brace available here if you want it - there's a little surface rust on one end but if you're stripping and painting it, that's not a problem

Also, look for "VHT" blue paint - it's a great colour! It's supposed to be "annodized effect", and I guess it's close, but I think it sounds like what you're after!

Aha found the stuff I had
