hey guys
ive been considering stickerbombing fuel cap flap and was wondering what everyone thought about the whole stickerbombing craze

I think it can look cool in moderation, small areas and such, whole wings and corners or bumpers etc I think look a bit tacky, I'm sure I saw a BA on here with the rear reflector panel done though and I quite liked that

On a ratty old heap, it looks fun, but on a nice car I don't like it personally :thumbleft:

Totally agree, Can you imagine doing a large panel then deciding that you didnt like it, then you have to take them all off again, sod that it would take you ages..

yer had a car that came in with the whole dash done took hours to pick them off

yer lots of it... paint thiners and a rag then dash shine once the dash shine wears off they will be back :lol:

Would come in handy though for sticking things to your dash, like errrrrr :scratch:

i just used a stickerbombing sheet i had from a magazine to trial it. got some pics on my camera and will upload when my internets up and running in house

I got mixed feelings about them...

part of me hates them, because they remind me of the covers of girls diarys back in school, or what you'd see plastering kids walls or bunkbeds. and like most good styles - overused.

saying that they can look really good if used right. good for covering up bad paintjobs/mismatched panels or easily damaged parts like splitters. much cheaper to repair damage and cover with stickers then smooth and get resprayed...

bit of trivia. the green and yellow 'V' sticker you often see is the JDM equivalent to our 'P' plates. Compulsory for inexperienced drivers (your basically saying 'watch out I might crash into you'). Might be where the whole craze came from, as a way to disguise it.

Only kidding, Nope sorry buts its not for me, I think it would look nicer with some sort of other decal there. maybe a chequered decal :dontknow:

To me it takes the sportiness out of the car.

only thinkg i'll say is it doesnt last long at all..
my mate bought 4 books and did all his dash bits (looked pretty good that) and did his badges, fuel cap and splitter. everything outside didnt last very well.. even though he liquored them with about 10 coats!
