So I'm picking up some black leather seats for the BA on Sunday.

I know that the leather option came with matching door cards, but what about the carpet - was that also optioned to match? I presume it was, but the brochures don't confirm, and the full interiors I've seen for sale don't mention the carpet either.

I still want to keep the car to an interior spec available at the time.

If the carpet did match, can anyone tell me which BA colour combos came with black carpet as standard (if any) and I'll target breakers on eBay advertising those particular cars.

My bright blue post Ford BA has a neutral greyish carpet. It now has cream leather with green piping. No one notices the green piping because it is tonally the same as the blue body. As for the carpet? Who cares?

Mine, in Silver, came with Blue/Grey/Green cloth interior and matching carpet whilst all the trim and dash were black. My door inserts are still the dark blueish colour, may change them at some point but its dark enough not to notice too much.

No idea how the spec works, my last BA, the auto, was Dark Blue with the same interior but had dark blue/green dash and trim.

When I fitted the black leather the carpet just looked out of place:

Even black mats couldn't stop it. So yeah, I changed it and think it looks so much better for it, not [i]too [/i]hard to do either
