Just wondering what kind of results you get using tint spray on standard orange side repeaters, anyone got any pics of it done

In the past I just would of bought aftermarket smoked or crystal ones, but I must be getting old as I can't justify the near 20 quid pricetag for a pair

I'm sure I picked up a pair for half that from ebay a few years ago

Would save a bit as a tin of tinting spray is only a few quid

Sand them first to lose the raised lettering, then give them a couple of coats of savage spray

Just been looking at the savage spray, is it fairly robust and waterproof?

I did my rear lights with it - I didn't lacquer it, just polished it and left it, and it's been fine

do you get issues with the police and lack of reflectability?
spraying the rears?

I only did my indicators and reverse / fog lamps - didn't touch the main lamp units

a light tint will still reflect, so you should be alright, maybe depends on the officer looking at it
