Just orderd a rocspeed induction kit from fps.
It says i have to trim the stock inlet pipe at the back of the flexible section to fit it.
Anyone fitted one of these?not sure where to trim and where to put all the sensors?
Any help would be great

I've got it in mine. Give me a poke tomorrow if I haven't put pictures of the fitting up. It comes with a hole drilled for the sensor, you just have to trim the pipe right where it goes into the back after the bend. =]

Just following up on Neals thread here, Anyone got a couple of shots of the induction kit fitted, just looks like I've got a lot of stuff to remove, seems like a simple enough bolt on jobby but don't want to get anything wrong, this is my first go at doing something to my BJ

Like does anyone know how I'm going to mount the bracket?

I used the supplied bracket and bolted to one of the holes left by the airbox

and cable tie it to the induction kit? I'll have to have a play around friday and see if I can fit it, just looks a little more complex than my BA to fit that's all.

The supplied bracket clips under the jubilee clip so no cable ties..

Oh ye.... And you wouldn't be surprised to know Problem solving is in my job description

Fit it at JAE where there will be professionals to assist (do it for you)

I'll see what weathers like tomorrow if it's pants we'll do it at JAE

Yes mate fitted it before JAE, got a pic of it in my car thread, it's not bad, my personal opinion of it, I've lost a bit of low down torque / power but the mid / top end have improved and makes up for it, also noticed it does get quite hot but I may try wrapping it at some point, got a nice grunt to it as well which I really can't complain about.

Another thing I'd say is it could do with being slightly repositioned to catch a small scoop that's at the bottom of the car.

Besides that I'm happy with it, you got / fitted yours yet Neal?

Nah,still not got mine yet.They couldnt find my address aparently.muppets.
Mark sent out another one and should be here this week.
I had a short ram on my ford focus and it used to starve the engine when it got hot,car wouldnt even move .I think i might get some nice exaust wrap then.
If all goes to plan i should be fitting it this weekend along with the oil catch can.

Make a scoop, I did small decorators tray , bit of mesh and self tappers easy

Oh goodness yes I have a plan on making my own scoop air feed at some point, Might buy some silver piping stuff from hellfrauds and have a play :P
