Was wondering what mods are actually worth doing? Especially on a 1.5
Is there anything that can actually be improved? (Except power obviously)

Been debating whether to put mine back to stock or not. All I have really are 40mm lowering springs and a powerflow exhaust which I'm not that happy with at the moment. The rest of the mods are just 17inch wheels that were on the car when I bought it and some interior stuff like double din, reverse cam and remote central locking which I don't mind that I added.

I put my CAI back to stock recently due to fear of sucking up water and just general performance and fuel consumption possibilities.

So are there any mods worth doing? Or should I just keep the car stock.

Everything could be improved.
The question is not "what can be improved"
It's more like "what do you want to improve"
If you want to improve something there's always a way.
I'm not commenting costs of doing it, just saying that you CAN.
It's another question "do you want to do it" realy.
You can improve power and response NA of forced induction..
You can improve the look of the car..
You can improve the handling of the car..
Or you can just drive it like you bought it.
This is your choise.
For me, the look is great with MS design adds, lowered not to the minimum to hurt the handling,the arches need min 17" rims and for power the 1.5 is for cruising only.
NA tuning eats alot of cash for some small gains, forsed induction is like people say: " more bangs for the bucks" With turbo is another car realy..
All depends on what you want from your car:
Do you want people to turn head on it or not..
It's simple as that.

I agree with mazzda, and ive always said to people when they ask what should i do to my car.
firstly, drive it stock for a while, then change what you want to change
looks too high, lower it
leaning into turns too much, add bracing, many options
seats not comfy, change them
lights not bright enough, upgrade them

ive changed everything i didnt like, and now i like my car even more, its perfect for me because ive built it for me, my driving style and my styling tastes.

what is good for me, is not necessarily good for anyone else though we all have modded our cars similarily to some extent.

but also i remember what it is, a 22yr(possibly older) 1.5 its not going to be a v6, if i want v6 power i need to buy a v6, i know the v6 isnt available in a few countries, but if its something you want, there is possibly the very costly option of import
