Considering a set of TA Technix lowering springs for my 1.5, either 40mm or 60mm. Although 60mm would look perfect, 40mm is probably better as with 60mm my car would scrape alot on my roads. I'm currently already lowered 40mm on Direnza springs but I'm after a better ride or else I'm going back to stock. I know Eibach are good and I've ridden in one with them but I wanted to know if TA Technix are any good.

I can't say for TA springs, but Eibach are really good.
If you are runnig -40 already with Direnza, i'm not sure that just brand swap will make you feel more comfortable when driving.
All loweting comes with costs, ride harshness if we have to be acurate.
If you have gas shoks, you can swap them for just oil ones and this will give you better ride quality, but changing brands from my point of view is pointless.
All aftermarket brands are complying with the vehicle mass, acceleration and all dynamics so to make the lowering springs safe enough to be used, so all brands are pretty equal at -40 so they are reliable and safe
That said, they are almost equal at -60..
Soo.. Changing the brand will not do anything..
Just my point of view..

I don't know because when you compare the amount of coils between let's say Direnza (mine) and TA Technix, TA have like double the amount. I know that's not how you measure comfort but it definitely should help. Also I've been in a car with Eibachs and the ride was just so so much better, same wheels aswell except tyres were slightly newer. With these springs you literally can't push down the corners of the car at all.

I've got KYB shocks on the rear which I think are gas and oil and OEM front.

I'll be able to give you my opinion on them in a few weeks, as I have a TA Technix 40mm lowering kit ready to go onto the car. This means I have their springs and shocks. I don't want to do this job myself as I am way too scared of one of the hub bolts breaking and leaving me stranded (as they are no longer available from Mazda). So I am waiting for my mechanic to be able to fit me in. Not only am I fitting that lowering kit, I am also replacing my worn out brake hoses with a new stainless steel set from Goodridge. Once they are on the car and I've driven it for a little while, I'll give you my review.

Oo the stainless steel hoses I was wondering about too. Was considering a set of HEL ones for my cars.
